How Does it Work?

Performing is as simple as selecting a preset and exploring in real time - using the XY Pad, MIDI Controllers, or by reacting directly to live audio input. Everything you see is rendered instantly using Apple’s graphics hardware.

At its core, EVS borrows ideas from classic audio synthesizers. Oscillators define repeating shapes, transformers blend and distort them, and effects shape the final image over time. No sounds is generated - instead, the system continuously draws motion.
